Our willow workshops are hosted by our Director Amy Cox - a master forester, land worker and willow weaver

We offer a range of paid for workshops and events from time-to-time.

100% of the profits form these workshops and events goes towards the provision of our core programmes free of charge.

This way we ensure that financial barriers never stop any young person from attending one of our sessions.

Land and Craft Skills Series @Fresh

Cost

Come and explore the abundance of the hedgerows and make a herbal potion to keep healthy through the seasons. We will spend the day learning about the trees and plants in the locality including history, medicinal uses and folklore. We will forage and fill our baskets in the morning and make a herbal remedy and some wild teas around the fire in the afternoon. You will gain the confidence to forage autumn herbs and make more immune boosting potions at home beyond the course. 

This course is suitable for complete beginners.

Please note that this event is not suitable for children.

Autumnal Forage (with your own basket!) and Potion Making

Learn the ancient craft of basket weaving during this one-day workshop on our organic farm. During this one-day workshop you'll learn to weave your own round fruit/foraging basket with locally grown willow in a range of colours.

This course is suitable for complete beginners.

Come and learn how to make a small round basket with low sides suitable for a fruit bowl/bread basket.

This day is an introduction to the basic techniques of stake and strand weaving. You will leave with a basket and the skills to know how to make another one at home.
